Mäkelän vierastalo is a spacious old farmhouse, located in the yard of owner's house, distance of 40 m. Pleasant courtyard, berry bushes and rhubarb plant. Garden furniture and swing in summer months. Air source heat pump. Travel cot and high chair are brought, if needed. Breakfast services and pastries can be ordered from owner. Also a canoe and SUP-boards to rent. A small pier by lake. Fine sandy beach, large lawn field, campfire site. Flowing waters, rapids approx. 1 km away, a good canoe route. 5 km long nature trail nearby, a lean-to Tolpankangas 5 km away, canoe trail, canoe rental, grocery shop 20 km, a bar (in summer) 1 km, restaurant 20 km. Taavetti / Luumäki 20 km, Utti ABC (gas station, restaurant, shop and pharmacy) 27 km, Tykkimäki (amusement park) 33 km, Repovesi National Park 50 km, Verla (Mill museum) 62 km, Lappeenranta 68 km.
