Dom wakacyjny "Harka" - 100m to the inlet w: Roskilde DK4000.601.1

The house was beautiful which is obviously the instant attraction, it never stated anywhere that consumption calculations would be done and charged before Reserving and buying the holiday which seems a bit of a trap, the jacuzzi took many hours nearly 30 hours to warm up to desired in which I can imagine consumed a lot of energy to do that. The place was constantly hot with very little to counteract as the heating system would not help lower the temperature which left us with having to keep doors open and constantly use the ceiling fan to cool down. within second day of occupying the place and throughout the week, Ants was everywhere and unstoppable. and there was a constant smell of Pig manure due to a Pig farm right behind the summerhouse the neighbors on the right in which I believe must be number 10 (white house) had 2 dogs that constantly was loose and came onto the ground in which we had to end up telling them to keep them on the leash or inside as we was trying to eat food outside and the dogs kept coming over The advertisement of the accessible boat and lifejackets wasn't there and available at all and the PlayStation was not recognizing that any discs had been put it to try and play which then got left alone after first few tries The view is amazing looking over Roskilde fjord and the actual house looks as great as it does in the pictures but that's pretty much as good as it gets Coming from England we were very surprised to see what you get for the money spend isn't worth as much as it would be on other destinations where consumption is part of the overall price of stay - you wouldn't normally get battered with a bill after staying at a hotel luckily with Denmark being my home country I had family to get Bedlinen, towels and etc. from the area in it self is very sheltered to the few houses and farms there and has a great view but without a car it would be very long and difficult to get there as its so secluded and it would be quite a walk to the nearest shop Rema1000 if needing supplies food or drinks without a car, lucky for myself I did borrow a car so this was not an issue for me I would personally say this house is not delivering the advertisement, yes its house on a can imagine expensive ground being located near the fjord but leaving out and not taking into consideration, Heating, Smells, Ants, Functional and available gear which is being used in advertisement for the house.

Reply from owner: I am sorry you didn’t find the house satisfactory; your expectations could have been adjusted if you had read the description thoroughly before renting the summer house which is not a hotel. But a few comments to your complaint. 1) bed linen is not included, and this is quite normal for renting summer houses in Denmark 2) there is no advertising for a boat or life jackets 3) at the time you were here, there was a heat wave throughout Europe, and the heating system is used to heat the house, not to cool the house 4) Denmark is a farming country and sometimes there can be a smell from the silage the farmers put on the fields 5) if you had looked up the address of the house you would have seen the distances to public transport etc. 6) ants have not previously been an issue reported to Sol & Strand, and if you experienced problems with them, you should have called Sol & Strand. The cleaning personnel didn’t see/mention this issue prior to your arrival 7) the spa is normally reduced to a low temperature for the tenant to decide if or when they want to use the spa. The spa contains 2.000-liters of water which obviously take time to heat - approx. 20 hours. As I understand, you complained to Sol & Strand that you could not swim in the spa, a spa is for relaxing in and is not designed for swimming 8) as I have been informed about, you children played with the dog but became a problem when you had guests with a dog in bleeding season. Dogs are not allowed in the house. Anyway, the neighbor’s dog is not supposed to be at the premises of the house 9) the PlayStation did not work because someone has put the television into ‘SHOP’ mode the PlayStation is working, but not sure why you could not get it to work Anyway, I hope you had some time to ‘cool down’ and you enjoyed the lovely view and the historical surroundings in Lejre and Roskilde.

Prachtig ontworpen huis met schitterend uitzicht. Fantastisch gelegen in een natuurgebied, maar toch vlakbij Roskilde (15 min) en Kopenhagen (35 min). Keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het huis is minimalistisch, maar doeltreffend ingericht met comfortabele bedden. Het is ontworpen om warmte vast te houden, dus het huis is in koelere periodes zeer comfortabel, maar in een hittegolf erg warm. Gelukkig is er een mooie tuin met voldoende schaduwplekken en een temperatuur-instelbare buitenspa. Onze tip; gordijnen voor de ramen in de badkamer.

Ejer svarer: De gordijnen zijn beschadigd door de vorige gasten en worden vervangen als de eigenaar na het seizoen bij het huis komt

Schönes, praktisches, sehr gut ausgestattestes Haus mit fantastischem Meerblick. Ohne Auto schwierig erreichbar. Sehr sauber, Küche gut bestückt zum Kochen. Oberer Stock sehr gemütlich und mit Ausblick, unterer Stock 2 Zimmer zum Schlafen inkl. grosses Bad. 3 Terassen mit Gartenmöbeln perfekt für den Sommer. Jacouzzi lief einwandfrei: Sonnenuntergang im warmen Bad: perfekt! Netter Eigentümer, hat uns sogar noch zum Bahnhof Roskilde chauffiert. Achtung: Bett- und Frottewäsche muss separat bestellt und bezahlt werden.

Et dejligt hus i smukke omgivelser. Desværre kan man ikke rigtig gå ture og sejlmulighederne er også forsvundet.

Tak for din anmeldelse. Beklager at høre i ikke benyttede jer af fjordstien, der er 275 Km lang. Der er sejlmuligheder, men det er ikke noget der vedrører sol og strand.
